New school report card data released by the state Tuesday show scores slightly down in schools in Rockdale County.

The Georgia Department of Education on Tuesday released the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), based on data from the 2013-2014 school year.

For Rockdale high schools, the score was 65.5 for 2014 compared to 69.9 the year before; for middle schools, the score was 72.5 in 2014, and 76.6 the previous year. With elementary schools, the score in 2014 was 75.9 while in 2013, it was 77.6.

The highest score a school can earn is 110. According to the data, the top-scoring Rockdale County schools were:

1. Lorraine Elementary School 87

2. Barksdale Elementary School 84.8

3. Hicks Elementary School 84.4

4. General Ray Davis Middle School 83.1

5. Shoal Creek Elementary School 80.5
