Riverwood team wins Destination Imagination engineering event

Riverwood International Charter School's newly formed Destination Imagination team won first place in the Engineering Challenge, in which competing teams design, build, and test load-bearing structures using specific materials, at the recent state tournament at Lanier High School. The club will go on to the Global Finals May 24-27 in Knoxville. The team members are Srujani Das, Jackie Martinez, Tate Poole, Adileni Moldanado, and Rosa Moctezuma. Their faculty sponsor is Karlyn Muller-Hill.
