Peachtree Ridge High School has earned STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) certification from the Georgia Department of Education for its SPIRE (STEM Program for Innovation, Rigor, and Excellence) initiative. State School Superintendent Richard Woods presented the school with a banner at a recent celebration. Dr. Jeff Mathews, the principal, said the certification "not only validates the amazing work of our teachers and staff at PRHS, but it also exemplifies the high level of rigor and problem solving our students experience in SPIRE."
