Elana Meyers, an Olympic bobsledder and silver medal winner at the Sochi Winter Olympics, will be the keynote speaker at Georgia State University’s spring commencement on May 10.

Meyers, who is from Douglasville, Ga., won the silver medal in the two-woman bobsled event. She won a bronze medal in the same event in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Meyers is an athlete director on the U.S. Bobsled Federation Board of Directors.

Commencement begins at 2 p.m. at the Georgia Dome.
