The number of Georgia high school students getting an early start on college has more than doubled since 2007.

According to figures from the Technical College System of Georgia, in 2016, there were 17,003 high schoolers enrolled through the Move On When Ready program.

The number of high school students enrolled in 2007 was 7,447.
