GCPS TV, Gwinnett County Public Schools' news and educational channel, recently won a silver and two bronze 2019 Telly Awards for the following productions:

• Dual Language Immersion - Year Four

The Telly Awards is an award program honoring video and television across all screens. Established in 1979, The Telly Awards receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Entrants are judged by an industry body of over 200 leading experts.

GCPS TV's technological capabilities and services include field, studio, and live video production; videoconferencing; satellite downlinks and closed circuit television.

The station’s reach includes over 300,000 households in Gwinnett County, via cable broadcast partners AT&T, Charter and Comcast; as well as over 170,000 students throughout the GCPS system. GCPS TV is also streamed live over the internet.

GCPS TV programs include: “Focus Moments,” “In5ive,” “ArtStage,” “The Author in You,” “English…Yes, I Can!” “Spanish for Educators,” “ParentVision” and “Love That Book.” It also covers live events and produces professional development videos and digital learning modules.

In June 2010, GCPS TV was honored with its first EMMY award for “What Is the School Effect?” The award was presented by the Southeast Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences. In 2011, 2013, and 2014, GCPS TV was again recognized by the academy, earning a total of four EMMYs for its popular children’s program “Love That Book.”
