Because of the forecast for possible snow and ice late Friday, all locations of Georgia State University will close at noon.

Governor Nathan Deal has issued a state of emergency beginning at noon, Friday. Employees should use their best judgment in their commute. Although the university campuses will close early, the Georgia State police and members of the facilities staff remain on campus.

Housing residents should use caution as they return to campus. At this time, the scheduled Saturday move-in will proceed as normal, but residents can also check in Sunday.
