More than 300 retiring Fulton County education employees will be honored at a semi-formal event on June 6 in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis’ Marquis Ballroom.
Motivational speaker and coach Ken Carter, the inspiration for the movie “Coach Carter,” will be the keynote speaker at the event.
Each retiree and a guest receive complimentary tickets, which otherwise cost $45 and can be purchased through Damita Holbrook at 404-763-4589 or holbrookd@fultonschools.org.
The dinner is being hosted by Fulton County Schools and the Fulton Education Foundation.
