To celebrate National School Lunch Week, October 15-19, school cafeterias in Fulton County are hosting the “School Lunch – What’s Cooking?” campaign, which will feature activities including “Take Your Parents To Lunch Days” at some schools. This year schools across the nation are under new nutritional guidelines that give students a wider variety of healthy food choices. Parents can view school menus at www.fultonschools.org/dept/schoolnutrition/MenuCalendars.aspx and also see each food item’s nutritional content.
