Four candidates for DeKalb school board District 4

Two candidates are challenging two incumbents in the May 20 election for DeKalb County school board District 4.

One incumbent was elected, the other appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal; they were thrown together when the General Assembly cut two seats from the school board this year.

This district is now one of seven covering DeKalb. It runs from near Buford Highway south to Stone Mountain.
