District identified as top technology user

The Cherokee County School District has again been identified as a top technology user.

The north metro Atlanta district took ninth place among districts with 12,000 or more students in the annual "Digital School Districts Survey" by the Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association. The nationwide survey evaluates everything from integration of mobile devices and technology into teaching, such as the "Bring Your Learning Device," to the use of technology and data in administration, governance and communication with students, parents and the public.

It’s Cherokee’s ninth appearance on thetop 10 list 10 since 2004.
