DeKalb Schools schedules make-up school board meeting for Saturday

The DeKalb County School District has announced its monthly school board meeting — scheduled Monday but canceled due to weather forecasting freezing rain — has been rescheduled for Saturday.

The DeKalb Board of Education will begin Saturday with a scheduled executive session at 1 p.m., followed by its board work session at 2 p.m. The public comment session will be held at 4 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 5 p.m.

Among the agenda items are selection of a new board chair and monthly reports on spending and hiring.
