DeKalb County School District Superintendent Steve Green will lead his first community forum of the 2019-2020 school year for parents, students and community members to get answers to any questions they have.

The latest edition of "On the Scene with Dr. Green" is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 12 at Redan Middle School, 1775 Young Road in Lithonia. Officials said Green will open the event with comments about the state of the school district.

The district bills the event as “an opportunity to learn more about your schools and to have your concerns addressed.” Green, or members of his executive cabinet, often field questions on a range of issues, from graduation, facilities conditions and schoolhouse engagement.
