The DeKalb County School District will hold a summer job fair for certified teachers on June 28 to fill 372.5 vacancies ahead of the 2016-2017 school year.

The fair will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at district headquarters, 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd. in Stone Mountain. Interested teachers should bring multiple copies of their resume, transcript and content assessment scores.

Interviews for elementary teachers will take place in Elizabeth Andrew High School, for middle- and high-school teachers in the DeKalb Early College Academy, and special education and center instructors in DECA’s gym.

District officials said recently that several hundred positions are up for grabs as the new year approaches. Leo Brown, the district's human resources chief, said 471 teachers resigned during this past school year, down from 675 in 2014-15.
