A series of meetings about the impact of the education special-purpose local-option sales tax program, SPLOST, is planned in Cobb County.

School Superintendent Chris Ragsdale said the meetings, dubbed “SPLOST continuation and community conversation” will be at 6 p.m. at these schools:

July 26 at Smyrna Elementary School;

July 27 at Lovinggood Elementary School.

July 28 at Walton High School.

“We need to make sure we’re communicating to the community how important SPLOST is and what it will do for our district,” Ragsdale told the school board.
