Clayton State University will host the sixth annual Metro Atlanta Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl Competition on Feb. 1.
The annual competition is named for Ruffin, a former DeKalb County elementary school library media specialist and selection committee member for the Georgia Children’s Book Award nominee program. The contest will feature students in grades four through twelve.
Clayton State students will serve as readers, score keepers and volunteers for the event.
Competition runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the university library.
