A pharmaceutical manufacturer has recalled a specific shipment of a meningitis vaccine as a precaution after a batch was compromised during the manufacturing process.

MENVEO lot number M16095 was recalled earlier this month by GlaxoSmithKline. It was shipped between Jan. 4 and Jan. 16. The company is asking that leftovers from the shipment be returned.

The meningitis vaccine is not a required vaccination for students in Georgia schools.
