The Cherokee County school board work session is scheduled for 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, and Canton High School, 930 Marietta Hwy., Canton. Among the items on the agenda are discussion of the board’s 2013 legislative priorities, the board’s budget priorities, and a draft of its five-year (2012-2016) strategic plan. A regular meeting of the board will follow at 7 p.m.
