Is the rancor of the presidential race reaching the classroom?

Yes, says a Fulton County sixth grader who explains he saw it firsthand in what should have been a friendly soccer game at school.

When a team made up of largely Latino boys was about to make a penalty kick, kids on the other team positioned themselves in front of the goal and chanted, “Build a Donald Trump wall,” says student Isaac Lambert.

From there, it only got worse.

“The player on my team who was taking the penalty shot called the offender a racist. Then another kid from the other team shouted, ‘get the h*** out of our country!!’ while another started a chorus of kids chanting, ‘Whites! Whites! Whites!’ You can imagine the shouting that followed. As for the soccer game, I don’t know what happened to it; I left,” says Isaac.
