Enrollment for Atlanta Public Schools’ summer program is now open.

Most of the programs begin June 3, and there are sites located throughout the district.

This is the second year for APS' rebranded "Power Up" summer program. Last year, instead of focusing on remediation efforts, the district offered more enrichment programs that involve hands-on projects and interactive learning; science, technology, engineering, arts and math camps; and bridge programs to help prepare incoming high school freshmen.

The district said most of the programs are available at free or low cost and include lunch and transportation.
