Atlanta schools pick Teacher of the Year finalists

Oct 20, 2015Three teachers have been named finalists for Atlanta Public Schools Teacher of the Year award.
The nominees are:
- Elementary school: Dennis Toliver, Grove Park Intermediate Elementary School;
- Middle school: Travis Brown, Sylvan Hills Middle School; and
- High school: Scott Allen, Grady High School.
One will be recognized as Atlanta’s teacher of the year at an Oct. 29 staff recognition event.
