Atlanta parents: Get your special education questions answered

Nov 14, 2016Community Advocates for Special Education and Atlanta Public Schools will hold a special education forum on Wednesday.
It’s a chance for parents to learn about Atlanta schools special education services and get questions answered by state and local officials.
Speakers will include Atlanta schools superintendent Meria Carstarphen and special education executive director Katika Lovett and Georgia Department of Education special education director Zelphine Smith-Dixon.
The event is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Atlanta Public Schools central office, 130 Trinity Ave. SW. More information: (404) 447-0637.
