Atlanta Public Schools is encouraging parents to participate in a survey that will be used to evaluate the school environment.

The Georgia Parent Survey, administered by the Georgia Department of Education, will be combined with results of other surveys about student health and school personnel to calculate the School Climate Star Rating within the state’s College and Career Ready Performance Index.

The survey, which will be available through Jan. 31, includes 20 questions and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
