Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School has named its next president.

Camille Naughton will become the downtown Atlanta school's second president on July 1. She replaces Bill Garrett, the school's founding president, who is retiring, according to a news release on the school's website.

Naughton has been with Cristo Rey since the school launched in 2013, serving as vice president of advancement and corporate partnerships.

“Due to the strong leadership of Bill Garrett, Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit has enjoyed an unprecedented level of success in its first five years. I am honored that the board has selected me to continue Bill’s legacy and lead the school into maturity,” she said, in a written statement.

The school said it held a national search to find its next president.
