Middle and high school male students can sign up for a back-to-school mentoring event that includes free haircuts.

The fourth annual “Cuts, College and Careers” will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at Trees Atlanta in The Kendeda Center, 225 Chester Ave. SE.

Students who want to participate should register by Aug. 7 online here.

The event is sponsored by the Fowler Firm, an Atlanta-based law firm.

More than 40 professionals representing numerous careers -- from law to media, sports, business and entertainment-- will attend the event to provide mentoring to youth about college and career planning. Food, games and haircuts are also planned.
