Parents with children in Atlanta Public Schools can vote online until April 24 to elect 128 representatives to serve on dozens of school governance teams.

The "GO teams" for each Atlanta school are made up of parents, teachers, school leaders, students, and community members. The teams provide guidance to principals, approve the school's recommended budget and work on long-range planning.

Elections are now open to fill seats on elementary, middle and high school teams. Parents will receive a unique website link to cast their vote online. APS will provide that link through emails, texts and U.S. mail to parents.

For more information about the candidates for each school team, visit the APS website to review their qualifications and vision for each school.
