Children across metro Atlanta get a week’s vacation next week, as school systems across the region close for the Thanksgiving holiday.
School districts from Atlanta to Buford to Fayetteville plan no classes all week, Monday through Friday. Students go back to class on Monday, Nov. 28.
Districts where school will be out Nov. 21-25 include Atlanta Public Schools, Decatur, Buford and Marietta city schools; and these counties: Fulton, Cobb, Clayton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Fayette and Douglas.
