The 4-month-old subject of a Levi’s Call has been located and is safe, Atlanta police said Monday night. Authorities continued to search for her father.

A Levi’s Call was issued early Monday evening for 4-month-old Bailey Jefferson, who had last been seen around 4 p.m. at 210 Ormond St. SW. Police said she was “taken by biological father from mother without her permission after assaulting her.”

At about 8:20 p.m. Monday, Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. Greg Lyon said the child had been found safe in DeKalb County. Lyon said authorities were still trying to locate the father, 22-year-old Brenton Jefferson-Davis.

Jefferson-Davis “may reside in the Decatur area,” police said. He was last seen in a 2004 white Ford Super Duty truck with Georgia tag PLC7405.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Atlanta police at 404-546-2498.
