Iowa man accused of sexually abusing girl during hide-and-seek game

An Iowa man is accused of sexual abuse after authorities said he inappropriately touched a girl he was babysitting during a game of hide-and-seek four years ago, KCCI reported.
Matthew Ross, 21, of Marne, was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, the television station reported. The victim's stepmother reported the abuse in December, KCCI reported.

According to a criminal complaint, Ross touched a girl under the age of 12 inappropriately during the game of hide-and-seek, the television station reported. He was arrested and taken to the Guthrie County Jail, where he was released on his own recognizance.
Ross’ preliminary hearing is Feb. 21, KCCI reported
