At least three people were injured after multiple shots were fired after a high school basketball game in Illinois, the The News-Gazette reported.

Champaign police spokeswoman LaEisha Meaderds said the shots were fired near Champaign Central High School between the Maroons and Danville High, the News-Gazette reported.

Injured from “multiple shots from an unknown assailant were a 15-year-old Danville High student, a 17-year-old female from Champaign and an 18-year-old female student from Parkland College. All three were taken by ambulance to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Meaderds said.

Police said there was also evidence of multiple incidents of property damage as a result of the shooting, the News-Gazette reported.
