Sometimes hospital visits can make patients even sicker than they were when they came in the door. Dangerous germs lurk on the hands of hospital staff. Overuse of antibiotics is leaving patients vulnerable to infections that can be deadly. Read the AJC’s story and access a new, data-rich interactive with infection information about every hospital in metro Atlanta.
