A Gwinnett County teenager who police said was behind the wheel of a car that wrecked last August, killing another teen, has been charged with vehicular homicide.
Gwinnett police at the time blamed excessive speed for the wreck, which happened on Azalea Driver near Buford Drive shortly before 4 a.m. on August 2.
Both the driver, 17-year-old Raheem Brown of Buford, and his passenger, 16-year-old Ramiah Hall of Grayson, were critically injured, and Hall died three days later at Gwinnett Medical Center.
Police filed arrest warrants on Feb. 11 charging Brown with first-degree vehicular homicide, reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane and not having a valid license..
Online jail records show that Brown had not been arrested as of late Thursday morning.
