The northbound lanes of I-85 in northern Gwinnett County have reopened after a wreck involving several tractor-trailers shut down both lanes for more than 2 hours early Tuesday.

Three trucks were involved in the 4 a.m. crash between Ga. 20 and Hamilton Mill Road.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.

Both northbound lanes remained blocked until about 6:15, leading to more than three miles of jammed traffic.

Alternate routes suggested by the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center were Buford Highway to Hamilton Mill Road or Ga. 124 to Hamilton Mill.
