A 1-year-old child has been injured after falling into a burning pile of leaves Tuesday in Troup County, according to reporter Colin Scroggins.

Life Flight was on the scene near Costley Road and Greenville Road, Scroggins reported. The 911 call was received about 4:15 p.m., according to Scroggins.

The child was being transported to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Scroggins reported.
