The Georgia Bureau of Investigations and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of a 10-month-old girl who died Sunday.

An autopsy had been scheduled for Monday morning shortly after a coroner pronounced the infant dead, according to news station WALB.

The baby died at a home in the 700 block of Grave Springs Road in Lee County. GBI agents were gathering evidence and conducting interviews to determine the child’s cause of death.
