Atlanta police are investigating after former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Phaedra Parks said someone shattered her car window and stole her bag Wednesday night in Buckhead.

The reality star, an attorney who works in Atlanta as a mortician, said she parked her Mercedes-Benz on Miami Circle and returned 11 minutes later to find shattered glass and personal items missing. The theft happened shortly after 7 p.m., she said in an Instagram post.

“They jumped through the passenger window and broke my glove compartment which was empty and he took the gold glitter backpack (RHOA castmate Porsha Williams) gave to me for my birthday which had my Canon camera in it with my sons recent graduation pictures on the memory card,” she said.

Parks, 49, said her car windows have “360 limo tint” and it would have been hard for the thieves to see inside before they busted out the window. The items stolen were sentimental, she said.

On Friday, Atlanta police confirmed they had taken Parks’ report and are investigating the incident.

Parks shares two children with ex-husband Apollo Nida, who was released from prison in 2019 after serving five years on a bank, mail wire fraud and identity theft conviction. The couple divorced in 2016, and Parks was let go from the “Real Housewives” series in 2017 after seven seasons.

She has since appeared on other reality programs such as WE-TV’s “Marriage Bootcamp.”

Parks is the latest celebrity to fall victim to crime in Atlanta. Last month, singer and music producer Akon watched as someone drove away in his Range Rover as he was pumping gas at a Buckhead gas station. The vehicle was later recovered in Forest Park.

In January, actor and rapper Ludacris had his Mercedes-Benz stolen after he left the key inside during a trip to the ATM, according to Atlanta police. Officers were able to track the car and it was quickly recovered and returned to its owner.

Tyrese Gibson, the rapper’s costar in the “Fast and Furious” movie franchise, also became a victim of vehicle theft in late December when he left his key fob in the cupholder and his Range Rover was stolen from the driveway of his Buckhead home. It too was recovered within hours.

And in January 2020, someone stole a Range Rover belonging to Sara Blakely, the billionaire founder of Atlanta-based Spanx, after she parked at her office in Buckhead and left the key fob in the center console.
