Floyd County police investigating 2 shooting deaths
Floyd County police verified Friday that the elderly couple found dead in a country home were shot to death.
Top officers so far have been unwilling to say if police are looking for a suspect, The Rome News-Tribune reported.
Police told Channel 2 Action News that officers found two bodies in a home on Terhune Road in Rome mid-afternoon Friday.
The names of the deceased have not been released.
