The operators of a Henry County private school have found a place to hold classes after the school’s building was damaged by a weekend fire.

No one was injured in the fire, which broke out about 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Closer Look Christian Academy on International Avenue in McDonough.

The fire heavily damaged the inside of the two-story building, and the upper floor collapsed down to the first floor, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Forty students attend the school, which has been at the location for five years, according to Channel 2.

A notice posted on the school's website Saturday says, "Closer Look Christian Academy was destroyed by fire today. Praise God no one was hurt. We will follow up with all parents and families accordingly."

Students will return to class Wednesday at Tabernacle of Praise Church International, which has donated space, a school official told Channel 2.

The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
