In a video posted on his Instagram, Grammy-nominated R & B singer and "Fast and Furious" star Tyrese Gibson asked an unnamed Atlanta cop to reassure the public that "not all police officers are bad."

Gibson interviewed the police officer following this week's police shooting deaths of two African-American men—Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minnesota.

Gibson asked him to "be the voice of the good police officers" and help the public understand "how we should process and deal with whats going on with the bad cops making it bad for the ones doing their jobs."

"All of us are not bad," the cop said. "We have families to go home to, too."

The unnamed Atlanta police officer, who said he's been on the job for nearly 23 years, told Gibson he does not condone the violence that's been going on.

Gibson posted a clip of the interview Friday, after a peaceful protest in Dallas, Texas against police killings resulted in five officers dead and seven others wounded.
