Sometimes, Looney Toons just isn’t loony enough, like when an almost-naked child and a foiled getaway come into play.

A 3-year-old boy in Oregon is accused of climbing into a Jeep, knocking it out of gear, crashing it into a nearby house and then running home to watch cartoons, KPTV of Portland reports.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.

An officer noticed the boy in a Jeep Wrangler in Myrtle Creek around 7 p.m. Tuesday, KPTV reports. When he didn’t see any adults around, the officer approached the child and asked where his parents were. The boy told the officer that they weren’t home, but another relative was.

Police contacted the relative, identified as 22-year-old Brennan Pennington, and told her that the child had the keys in the Jeep and had gotten inside.

At about 7:30 p.m., police were called back to the area on reports of a Jeep crashing into a house.

KPTV reports investigators say the 3-year-old got into the Jeep again and knocked it out of gear. Witnesses said they saw the Jeep travel down the street, through an intersection, over a curb, through a yard and into a house.

The boy then got out, wearing only a diaper, and ran home.

When the officer arrived at his house, he said the boy was on the couch watching cartoons, “as if nothing had ever happened.”

The boy’s aunt, and owner of the Jeep said the Jeep was parked on an incline and when the boy got inside, he knocked the manual transmission into neutral, and the vehicle coasted down the road.

Police said the family made a “civil compromise” with the homeowner about the damage to the house, KPTV reports. Pennington was cited on the charge of failing to supervise a child.
