DeKalb children to be adopted for National Adoption Month

Several adoptions will be finalized Friday at the DeKalb County Courthouse as part of National Adoption Month.

Superior Court Clerk Debra DeBerry said National Adoption Month helps focus attention on children that are in foster care and waiting to be adopted.

The adoptions will be overseen by Superior Court Chief Judge Gregory Adams and Superior Court Judge Tangela Barrie on the fifth floor of the courthouse beginning at 9 a.m.
