A man died after being shot multiple times at his townhouse community in southwest Atlanta, police said Monday.

Officers responded to the Fairburn Townhouses development at 400 Fairburn Road just after 1:15 p.m. and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Atlanta police said in a news release. The man, identified as 35-year-old Keith Bell, later died from his injuries.

No one was in custody in the homicide Monday, police said. The investigation continued into Bell’s death.

The location of the shooting was about a mile from Mays High School, just outside of I-285. According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, Bell lived in the complex.

Bell is the city’s 133rd homicide victim of the year, according to police.
