A second suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting at a Rockdale home last month has been apprehended more than 900 miles away, authorities said Wednesday.
Mikle Talyzin, 28, is one of two people accused of killing 45-year-old Francoise Adam, who was found shot in the head three times inside the Fountain Crest Drive house on May 13. He was arrested in Brooklyn, the same New York City borough where the other suspect, 19-year-old Ryan Mulqueen, was arrested May 23.
They were taken into custody with the help of the New York Police Department and each faces murder charges.
“We appreciate all the assistance provided by other agencies and citizen tips that led to the capture of both shooting suspects,” the sheriff’s office said.

Details on the fatal shooting, including a possible motive, were not provided by the agency. Deputies originally responded to a “trouble unknown call” at the home that afternoon and found Adam inside suffering from several gunshot wounds. He died at a hospital a few days later.
In the days that followed, the sheriff’s office released photos of the two suspects and asked for the public’s help in locating them.
Officials said they were working with the NYPD to get Talyzin and Mulqueen extradited back to Rockdale County, where they will face additional charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and home invasion.
