Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a 60-year-old man dead Thursday night.

The victim was discovered inside a home in the 1200 block of Lorenzo Drive in southwest Atlanta after police were called about an injured person.

He had been shot in the torso, according to police spokesman Officer Steve Avery. The man’s name was not released.

“Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and no suspect information is available at this time,” Avery said Friday in a statement.
