Ex-Popeyes employee jailed after allegedly threatening to shoot up Cobb restaurant

A former Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen worker didn’t exactly make a smooth exit from his job at one of the fast-food restaurant’s Cobb County locations.
Trinny Price threatened to shoot up everyone at the Cobb Parkway location Friday when his boss wouldn’t give him his final paycheck, Marietta police said in an arrest warrant obtained by Channel 2 Action News.
“They told him, ‘Turn your uniform in. You don’t turn it in, you can’t get your check,’ ” Popeyes customer Roger Collins told Channel 2.

Marietta police said Price then reached into his backpack.
Price “stated that he had a gun inside his bag and he would take it out and shoot everyone,” according to warrant.
Price later left and called his manager’s cellphone. A police officer answered.
The officer told him to come back to the restaurant, where he was charged with making terroristic threats, Channel 2 reported. Police never found a gun.
Now he is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
