Gwinnett County police are investigating after racist graffiti was spray painted on the entry sign to a subdivision near Lawrenceville over the weekend.
Channel 2 Action News reported that residents of the Avington Glen subdivision were outraged Saturday morning to find an expletive and the N-word on the sign at the front of the subdivision.
A nearby sign was spray painted with obscene images, according to the station.
“I have three young children and I don’t want them growing up seeing that,” Nordia Neal told Channel 2. “It’s very hateful.”
Police have not released any information on possible suspects in the vandalism.
