Woman shot in mouth during robbery at Cobb shopping center

Sept 22, 2015A woman was shot in the mouth Monday night during a robbery outside a popular Cobb County shopping center, police said.
Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said the incident happened just after 9 p.m. outside the Sports Authority store at the Akers Mill shopping center. The center is located on Cobb Parkway near I-75 and I-285.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the suspect fled the scene.
No further information was immediately available.
