Woman seriously injured in drive-by shooting

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is searching for suspects in a drive-by shooting in Dallas.
A woman was taken to the hospital after she was shot in “her lower extremities,” the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
About 5 a.m. Wednesday, 911 operators received a shots-fired call at a Dallas home, Paulding County sheriff’s Sgt. Ashley Henson said.
Deputies arrived at the Dallas Road home and found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound, Henson said. She was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Authorities have not released her condition or identity.
Detectives eventually discovered multiple shots were fired from the road and that the shooters left the scene, Henson said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office at 770-443-3015.
