Authorities in Gainesville arrested seven women, one of which is in her 70s, in a sting operation that targeted so-called massage parlors.

The operation ran from April 20 through Tuesday, according to the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad that includes the Gainesville Police Department. Officials acted after they received “several complaints” about the businesses.

The women were arrested on sex-related charges, officials said.

“One was in her early 60s, one was in her 70s,” Derrick Booth of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office told Channel 2 Action News.

Authorities said five businesses were involved in illegal activities such as prostitution.

Arrested were Myung Hee Lim, Soo Jin Chang, Sue Yeon Crum, Uni Chong Bell, Zhao Dongming, Shun Zi Li and Ju Hyun Lee, police said.
