Tia Alicia Taylor was wearing law enforcement paraphernalia and representing herself as a law enforcement officer to responding officers, police said.
Taylor allegedly told police she worked for another law enforcement entity.
The encounter led investigators to get a search warrant for Taylor's residence, police said, and the search revealed numerous bags of evidence with law enforcement paraphernalia, including a police badge and the receipt for a weapon not located at the scene.
Taylor was charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer.
